our pleasure hosting guests from Universidad Católica del Norte (UCDN) first day, they had visit AMPM lab, WDRC lab an overview of our facilities, got to know more about Prof. Zhiping's labs, and discussed possible collaboration in the future.

Congrats to our group's research scientists, Dr. Li Cao, who presented his amazing work on COF membranes at the @AMPM KAUST conference, and Dr. Zhen Li and Dr. Ruicong Wei, who both won the second prize in the poster session.

Dr. Xu Jiang received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2019. His research interests are focused on membrane gas separation, functional polymer, and functional nanomaterials synthesis and application.

Liang received both his BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2017. He then worked as an engineer at BOE Electronic Technology Group and State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Float Glass, China until 2023. His research interests mainly focuse on glass ceramic material for ion selevtivity and immobilization.

His research interests revolve around designing and synthesizing functional covalent organic frameworks with diverse properties, and exploring their potential applications in the fields of energy sustainability and environmental security.

Our Project of Lithium Power from Seawater led by Professor Zhiping participated in exhibition

Saudi Arabian mining company Ma'aden, together with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Innovation Ventures Fund, are investing $6 million USD into Lithium Infinity (Lihytech). The KAUST startup's battery-grade lithium will be a key component in driving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to developing the entire value chain of electric vehicles (EVs).
